The record remains mediocre, but the Bulls (17-22) seem to have gained some spark from the return of guard Kirk Hinrich and forward Luol Deng from injuries. The veteran Bulls seem intent on bringing back the kind of attitude they carried during the playoff years of 2005-07, when they used to share the ball and buckle down on defense most every night. "When we were playing well and we were a playoff team, that's what we did," Deng said after Wednesday's win at Toronto. "We've got to get back to that somehow." Hinrich, Deng, Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni are the players who were on all three of those playoff qualifiers.
